Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

Short version: MiGrid runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your grids never leave your device.

1. Who We Are

MiGrid is a free, browser-based grid generator available at this website. It is an independent project with no company or organisation behind it.

2. Data We Collect

MiGrid does not collect any personal data. The tool runs entirely client-side โ€” meaning all processing happens in your browser and nothing is sent to any server.

Specifically, we do not collect:

3. Local Storage

MiGrid saves your last-used settings (grid size, colour preferences, number range) in your browser's localStorage so that your configuration is remembered between visits. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

4. Advertising

MiGrid may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense in order to cover hosting costs and keep the tool free. When ads are active, Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show you personalised advertising based on your browsing activity across the web.

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.

Note: Advertising is not yet active on this site. This section will be updated when ads are enabled.

5. Hosting & Server Logs

MiGrid is hosted on Netlify. Like all web hosting providers, Netlify may automatically collect standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. This is handled entirely by Netlify and is outside our control. Please refer to Netlify's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Third-Party Services

MiGrid uses the following open-source libraries, which run entirely in your browser and make no external network requests:

7. Children's Privacy

MiGrid does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The tool contains no registration, no user accounts, and no data submission of any kind.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when advertising is enabled. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact

MiGrid is an independent project with no commercial organisation behind it. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please raise them via the browser's built-in feedback tools or by filing an issue if the project is ever made open source.
